Phil Hay: Luke Ayling set for absence after Leeds blow v Newcastle
Leeds United are in the middle of yet another injury crisis at the start of this Premier League season.
Marcelo Bielsa is known for his strict relentless methods, but it only seems to be affecting his defenders.
Luke Ayling limped off against Newcastle last night, joining Pascal Struijk, Diego Llorente and Robin Koch on the sidelines.

It didn’t look great at St James’ Park, with Ayling going down twice and trying to play on after the first blow.
Phil Hay has shared his verdict on his personal Twitter account in the aftermath, and he has suggested that another absence is set.
“In terms of CBs he’s got three plus Ayling absent through injury or suspension,” he wrote.
“Plenty of options when all are available.”
Last thing we need.
Ayling is the one player who can step in centrally with our central defenders all either injured or suspended.
With him likely to be forced onto the sideline, there are no other senior defensive options available at Elland Road to partner with Liam Cooper.
Charlie Cresswell looks next in line, and he could be given an audition to start in the Premier League in the cup clash with Fulham.
Bielsa admitted that he would struggle without Ayling given his problems already, but it looks as though he is going to have to try and find a solution.
Something is going seriously wrong with our defenders, as they simply can’t stay fit for long enough – a solution needs to be found.
