Phil Hay: Leeds likely to sign two or three players this summer
Phil Hay has reported that Leeds United will be looking to make two or three signings over the summer.
It is unknown whether the deal to make Jack Harrison’s move permanent is included, but that could lead to only two new faces.
Hay previously mentioned that left-back and midfield were the other areas that are being targeted with Victor Orta trying to make his move early.

Speaking on the Phil Hay Show on Friday, the journalist shared the major update with no signings having been made yet.
“If he sticks around, we’ll probably be looking at two or three at first-team level as it is,” he said.
“Then there will be players coming in at the under-23 and 18 level as well which seems to now be an annual event at Leeds.”

Only two or three…
We have to admit that this has shocked us, with five players being previously mooted before the window opened.
If Harrison is included too, that means we could only see two signings at left-back and in midfield.
Bielsa isn’t one to keep a full squad though and would prefer to rely on his younger players than have a bench packed with experience.
There were times last season where our bench looked seriously light though, and although we did have an injury crisis, it could happen again.
Hay is returning to action after his brain surgery thankfully went well, and it looks as though it may be a busy summer, but maybe more in the under-23s.
Orta will be working day and night, and hopefully, we can see one of those signings announced sooner rather than later.
