Phil Hay: Leeds deal for winger looking hard
Leeds United will find it hard to complete a deal for an attacker this summer, with only three weeks left of the window.
Phil Hay has insisted that it will only happen if the right deal appears at the right time, similar to Raphinha last season.
The Athletic journalist has shared that midfield remains to top option at Elland Road, with other positions taking a back seat.

Concerned fans have started to question Hay, and did share that although Noa Lang is a target, no concrete move has been made.
Writing on his personal Twitter account, the Whites guru admitted that the idea continues to be floated around Elland Road.
“Hard to say,” he wrote.
“It’s been floated all summer but was always a case of doing it if the right option came up at the right price.”
All summer.
So, Hay has been told all summer that if the right deal comes along at the right time, Leeds will push to make it happen.
It looks as though it still hasn’t arrived then, and time is starting to run out very quickly for Victor Orta.
Obviously, it would have been ideal for the Whites to have signed a midfielder by now, but that is proving difficult.
The longer that takes, the harder it will get to bring in a winger too, especially with the season starting this weekend.
Leeds don’t have much attacking depth, pre-season has proved that, so Bielsa must surely be nervous.
These two deals are needed desperately, get them done.
