Peter Lowy reveals what is ‘incredible’ about Daniel Farke at Leeds United
Leeds investor and board member Peter Lowy has piled the praise on manager Daniel Farke.
Leeds have lost their last two matches in the Premier League, but remain well-placed to go on and secure their top-flight future after their ascent last May.
Farke took charge at Elland Road in 2023 following the Whites’ relegation to the Championship, before he added a third promotion to his CV after two previous successes with Norwich.
While not as comfortably as fellow promoted outfit Sunderland, Leeds have settled back into Premier League life well, and currently sit 15th in the standings.
Lowy was quick to provide glowing praise for Farke and what he has done with the squad.

Pete Lowy issues glowing Daniel Farke verdict
After facing serious pressure during the season’s early days, Farke adapted to the top flight perfectly, after suffering relegation twice with Norwich.
Speaking to BBC Radio West Yorkshire, investor, board member and lifelong Leeds fan, Lowy was keen to pile the praise on the German’s shoulders – highlighting his man management skills.
“He has this skillset, and the ability to pick out players that other clubs don’t see, and help manage their loads to bring them back to the player that they were,” said Lowy on Farke.
“Daniel has an incredible man-management ability,” added Lowy.
“Have a look at what he did when Wilfried Gnonto was going to leave us, how Brendon Aaronson has come back into the team.
“When you get that skillset in, and you look at players like Lukas Nmecha and Dominic Calvert-Lewin, there is incredible talent sitting there that has been hidden or sitting behind something, and you just need to be able to bring it out,” he added.
Calvert-Lewin, in particular, has thrived under Farke, having fully recovered from a tough period with Everton. Since making the move to West Yorkshire, he has scored 10 league goals.
Daniel Farke deserves the chance to continue building with Leeds
Given his poor past record in the Premier League, the German head coach came under immense criticism during the season’s early days, but he has gone a long way towards proving critics wrong, with Leeds now well-placed for survival.
Bringing the Whites up from the second tier last term, Farke has earned time and trust at Elland Road, and should be the man to continue leading Leeds as they look to further settle down in the division, should they stay up.

A well-liked personality and someone who has proven to be immense at extracting the best out of talent, Farke has earned his chance, while Leeds should have the chance to build further over the summer.
With exciting Elland Road expansion plans and the hopeful upward trajectory of the club, the current iteration of Leeds is miles apart from the one relegated from the Premier League three years ago, and Farke is at the heart of this.
