Peter Crouch thrilled by Jack Harrison in Leeds win v Burnley, Finnis-Brown tips bargain move
Rachel Brown-Finnis has backed Leeds United to complete an “absolute snip” by signing Jack Harrison from Manchester City this summer.
The winger was inspirational in the 4-0 win over Burnley on Saturday afternoon, scoring one and grabbing two assists at Turf Moor.
BT Sport host Lynsey Hipgrave mooted an £11million permanent fee for Harrison, with Peter Crouch confessing his love for the loanee under Marcelo Bielsa.
Crouch was thrilled by the performance of Harrison before tipping Southgate to take a lot at him ahead of the European Championships.
“He was the best player on the pitch today,” he said.
“I think every time that he got the ball, he was running at them. I think he does his defensive work very, very well.
“He has to be in with a shout.”
Rachel Brown-Finnis agreed and believes that the Whites are about to seal a massive bargain in the upcoming window.
“Given he’s become a real key, integral cog of the works for Leeds, I don’t think they can not buy him. Leeds would be crazy to not purchase him.
“At £11million if that is the touted figure, I think that’s an absolute snip.”
Must buy.
After his first season at Elland Road, Harrison hardly set the world alight.
We are thankful for the loyalty and trust of Marcelo Bielsa, and this is why he is paid millions because he can sense when a player can become world-class.
No one would have expected the winger to have this much of an impact in the Premier League, but he has been sensational.
Harrison has the most goal involvements of any Englishman in the Premier League this season, which could even see him earn a spot on the plane for EURO 2021.
We simply have to get this deal over the line as soon as possible, with one of England’s up and coming stars secure at Elland Road, the future is looking as bright as ever.
