Permanent Leeds United exit on the cards for Kris Moore as Elland Road connection emerges at Hibernian
Leeds United youngster Kris Moore has joined Hibernian for their winter training camp, but no agreement has been reached over a loan or permanent transfer, according to The Scottish Sun.
The newspaper reported on its website on Wednesday (10 January) that the young right-back’s situation could change depending on his performance in training over the next few days under the eye of Nick Montgomery and former Leeds boss Brian McDermott.
Both Montgomery and McDermott have been looking for new players this month, but Hibs’ director of football has insisted that he will remain honest with potential new targets when trying to bring them to Edinburgh this month.

However, should Moore impress, it seems possible that he could earn a potential permanent transfer away from Elland Road during the January transfer window.
Old connections
Moore is reportedly incredibly highly thought of at Leeds United having captained the Whites’ side in the Premier League 2 repeatedly this season, but he has struggled to break into the first team and make that next step up.
Able to play as both a full-back or centre-half, Moore has found himself behind a long list of potential options at Elland Road, including the likes of Pascal Struijk, Joe Rodon, Liam Cooper and even the likes of Charlie Cresswell and Diogo Monteiro.

A switch to the Scottish Premiership would likely be the best move for his development and career, however, a permanent move away from Thorp Arch would be a slight surprise development during the January transfer window.
Most have only expected Moore to depart on a temporary basis this month, but this latest report would suggest that his performances could well earn him a permanent transfer.
While the connection with former Leeds boss McDermott may be enticing for the 20-year-old, it would be a blow for the Whites if they lost him permanently this month.
