'Perfect' - Leeds 27y/o opens up on Bielsa demands, shares 'big dream'

You never get to see much behind-the-scenes of a football player. That is unless you are a Leeds United fan with Ezgjan Alioski in your side.

Nearly each and every game in the Championship is joined with a Twitter video of the Whites star doing something questionable. Whether that is shaking the Elland Road tunnel or chanting a song while entering the dressing room.

Passion is a thing that might have been lacking at the club before Marcelo Bielsa arrived, but the 27-year-old is proof that is definitely not the case now.

Alioski has opened up on his perfect end to the season recently. He claimed that he wants to win promotion to the Premier League as well as qualifying for the upcoming European Championships.

“It would be perfect to get the country into Euro 2020, and get to the Premier League with Leeds – both together,” he said via the Yorkshire Evening Post.

“It is a big dream, but I hope this dream comes true.”

The Macedonian star has failed to cement a regular starting spot this season due to the success of Stuart Dallas, but he continues to prove why he is so important to Bielsa.

We have all started to believe that Bielsa is the man to get us back to the Premier League ever since he arrived at the club. Alioski clearly believes that as well, and the improvement is clear to see in his game.

The versatile Whites star often failed with his final ball in his first season in the Championship. Alioski has matured massively in the past couple of years, and he has started to become a real outlet whether starting or coming off the bench.

Squad depth is key to earning promotion, and even if he primarily is used off the bench, Alioski will be key behind any potential success this season.
