What Pep Guardiola has said about Daniel Farke ahead of Man City vs Leeds
Pep Guardiola has already piled praise on Daniel Farke previously ahead of Saturday’s encounter.
Leeds travel to face Man City this weekend, knowing fine well that they will be up against it from the very first minute.
A defeat for the Whites would hardly be unexpected, though it would pile even more pressure on Farke, who is said to be on the brink of the sack at Elland Road.
However, having encountered him before, Guardiola has previously praised one aspect of Farke’s managerial tendencies, and it couldn’t be further from the truth today.

Daniel Farke’s ‘courage’ praised by Peg Guardiola at Norwich
Farke’s record in the Premier League is woeful to say the least, and a lot of that stems from his time with Norwich City.
The German won just six times with the Canaries in the Premier League, leading them to relegation, which is a similar fate that awaits Leeds if they don’t make a change.
However, despite the flaws he showcased at Carrow Road, Guardiola had only good things to say about Farke when discussing his position back in 2021, and that feeling was mutual.
Guardiola said: “I like his courage. The proposal is always so attractive. I like it.
“I am very pleased [Norwich] came back after being relegated. The support he had from the club, and now they have extended the contract for many years. That means they feel comfortable together. That’s all.”

If there is one thing Farke has shown very little of throughout his time at Leeds, it is courage, and that will almost certainly be the reason behind his sacking when that comes.
Lack of courage will be why Daniel Farke gets sacked
If Farke had courage, he would refrain from making the same errors that he has repeated throughout the current campaign.
Starting Brenden Aaronson is certainly one of them errors, with Willy Gnonto and Dan James often forced for squad roles as a result of his favouritism towards the USMNT international.
It’s almost impossible to see Leeds coming away from the Etihad with anything, and if so, it’s even harder to see Farke stay in his job.
However, there would be a sense of irony in Farke getting sacked for losing against the manager who has previously come out in public and backed him.
