Paul Robinson doesn’t know where next Leeds win comes, says Norwich game is must win
Former Leeds goalkeeper Paul Robinson says he is struggling to see where the next win will come from after a 3-0 thumping by Aston Villa on Thursday night.
Jesse Marsch made it back-to-back defeats since taking over at Elland Road, as the Whites lost ground in the race for survival once more, with just ten games remaining in the season.
While appearing as a pundit on Amazon Prime Sport for the game, Robinson shared his thoughts on the club’s ‘terrible’ goal difference and said ‘3 points are a must’ when they face Norwich this weekend.

“I can’t imagine it will be a pretty game,” he said. “I think both teams will set up to not lose the game.
“Leeds’ goal difference is terrible. Games in hand are not points in the bank, we know that, but when they’ve played two or three games more than those around them, with a goal difference as bad as Leeds’ is, that’s another point of their tally on goal difference.
“Three points is a must on Sunday. Based on tonight’s performance, I struggle to see where the next win is going to come from.
“You look at the fixtures, the way they’re playing, you struggle to see any way they can get out of it playing the way that they do.
“Confidence is a huge thing in football and one result can change that for Leeds. There has to be a huge improvement, if they get a result against Norwich, then yes every chance they stay up.
“I’d hate to think they’re relying on Brentford and Burnley. I think it’s between Brentford, Burnley and Leeds as to who goes down.”

Shocking
To have conceded 64 goals in the Premier League in just 28 games this season shows just how abysmal Leeds have been over the course of the campaign.
From Marcelo Bielsa not knowing how to shut up shop and limit damage, to Marsch coming in and not being able to hit the ground running in the last week and a bit, it’s all been a nightmare.
But somehow Leeds still have a chance to get it right themselves and save their season in the final ten games, starting with Norwich at the weekend.
The Canaries are rock bottom and essentially dead and buried in the league, but a win for them would give them a lifeline too while dragging Leeds further and further into trouble.
The Whites have to go for the win and not be scared, they have the quality to put Norwich to the sword and finally lift the mood at the club going into the biggest two months they’ve had in the last 15 years.
