Paul Merson predicts defeat for Leeds United v Crystal Palace
Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson has predicted Leeds United to suffer a defeat against Crystal Palace in the Premier League matchday nine fixture.
The Whites are looking to finally get back to winning ways when they face the Eagles on Sunday, 09 October, at Selhurst Park.
Merson, in a column for Sportkeeda, has predicted Jesse Marsch’s men to suffer another defeat because of being stuck in a “limbo”.

“I watched Crystal Palace against Chelsea and didn’t feel like there was a lot between the two teams,” he wrote.
“If you were a fan who had just come in from another country to watch the game, you’d have thought the two teams were equals, which is the biggest compliment I can pay to Patrick Vieira and his side.
“Leeds United are stuck in a bit of a limbo, so I fancy Palace to get all three points. Crystal Palace 2-0 Leeds United.”
Worrying
Leeds started the season brightly after securing seven points from the first three matches, including a thumping 3-0 win against Chelsea while playing at home.
Since then, the Whites have found it hard to deliver good results as they are winless in the last four league matches, suffering two defeats and drawing the other two in the process.

Their last outing resulted in a 0-0 draw against Aston Villa at Elland Road where the home team had to play with 10 men for more than 40 minutes as Luis Sinisterra received a red card.
Therefore, the prediction must worry Leeds fans as they would not want to see their team continuing their winless streak to five matches, especially after the start they had in the earlier part of the season.
Looking at the overall record would definitely give Marsch’s men something positive going into Sunday’s clash as the Whites have won five times in just 10 meetings between the sides in the Premier League [Transfermarkt].
In other Leeds United news, this Elland Road starlet has proved that he has a long way to go to be a regular in the senior setup after what he did on Tuesday night.
