Paul Merson backs Leeds United to beat Wolves on Friday evening
Paul Merson has backed Leeds United to pull off an “Unbelievable” win against Wolves in the Premier League on Friday evening.
The Sky Sports pundit has predicted that it will finish 2-1 to the Whites at Molineux after their big win over Norwich last time out.
Merson admitted that the jury is still out over Jesse Marsch and if he was the man to replace Marcelo Bielsa, but believes he could take a step towards proving that here.

Writing in his Sportskeeda predictions column on Thursday (17 March), Merson singled out the pace that can cause big problems.
“I think they’ll really fancy themselves after what turned out to be a much-needed win and build on it with three points at the Molineux,” he wrote.
“It’s a massive pitch and Leeds have a lot of pace in their squad – that’s something that could hurt Wolves. They are a good football-playing side, but the likes of Joao Moutinho and Ruben Neves aren’t the quickest players around, so they could really be hurt by Leeds.
“Jesse Marsch has overseen two losses and a win since taking charge, so the jury is still out on whether it was the right decision to sack Marcelo Bielsa. That said, if Leeds can get a result here, it would be unbelievable.”

Amazing.
Isn’t it incredible what one win can do, not only to yourselves but to those around you in the Premier League?
Merson was one of the most outspoken about how bad Leeds were and have been in recent weeks, and now that has all changed.
He can now even backed the Whites to beat one of the most solid, in-form sides in the entire division, that would be a real turn of events.
Three points or even a draw at Molineux going into the international break would be solid, and a real step in the right direction.
With the likes of Dan James switching in that new-look front four with Patrick Bamford back, that speed could be a real weapon.
Let’s hope it is enough of a weapon to bring back the win.
