Patrick Bamford reacts to Leeds United loan exit news as confirmation made
Patrick Bamford has reacted to Diego Llorente’s social media post after the latter confirmed he was leaving Leeds United on loan once again.
The centre-back has rejoined Serie A side Roma on a temporary basis for the 2023/24 season, as confirmed by the official Leeds website.
The Spanish defender will play for the Italian club for a second time having made 12 appearances during his loan spell at Roma in the second half of last season.

“Playing for Roma was an incredible experience, so there was no better choice than to come back,” Llorente posted on Instagram. “Proud, excited and very happy! Come on Rome!”
Leeds striker Bamford then liked the post on the social media site.

Keeping track
Bamford’s social media interaction shows he is clearly keen on keeping up with the transfer dealings at Elland Road this summer, which is certain to involve a long list of players.
But the intent behind the like perhaps remains a mystery, with the striker either happy for his teammate, or indeed happy to see the back of him once more.
The former is, of course, the most likely scenario, with things definitely working out well for the Spaniard as he heads to the Italian capital for a second time.
Bamford meanwhile looks like staying at Elland Road for the upcoming Championship campaign, with the striker keen to stay fit and help fire the Whites back to the Premier League at the first time of asking.
But he may have to continue to keep an eye on his social media in the coming weeks, with the likes of Marc Roca, Wilfried Gnonto and Tyler Adams among others potentially leaving Elland Road this summer.
In other Leeds United news, a £40million+ Willy Gnonto transfer development has emerged at the club amid Aston Villa news.
