Patrick Bamford reacts as Leeds United footage emerges after transfer news – ‘Incredible’
Patrick Bamford has shared his reaction after an old Leeds United footage taped by Luke Ayling resurfaced following his exit from Elland Road.
It was confirmed on Wednesday (10 January) that Ayling, 32, will spend the rest of the season on loan at Middlesbrough and with his Leeds contract expiring at the end of the campaign, it looks as though his eight-year spell at Elland Road will be coming to an end.
And Bamford taking to his personal Twitter account (11 January) shared his reaction after an old clip from their Championship-winning campaign under Marcelo Bielsa resurfaced on social media believed to be taped by Ayling.
The clip showed the Leeds United players celebrating alongside manager Bielsa outside their training ground at Thorp Arch and Bamford certainly felt a sense of nostalgia looking back as he posted “Incredible” to the tweet.
Shivers
That clip will have certainly sent shivers down Bamford’s spine as reminisced on the good old days under Bielsa during that tremendous Championship-winning campaign.
Ayling was a massive part of that triumph and the clip he taped will certainly live long in the memory of both he and Bamford who have emerged as club icons from that season.

Right now, the 32-year-old is now also a memory at Elland Road after his exit to The Riverside Stadium this week and with his contract up this summer, it remains to be seen whether he will step foot on a Leeds United pitch again.
Bielsa got the best out of him in that Championship win and also oversaw a brilliant campaign by the ex-Arsenal right-back in the Premier League on their return to the big time.
But after that first top-flight season, he slipped into an unfortunate and rather expected decline, he was one of many players who struggled to get to grips with playing for managers like Jesse Marsch, Javi Gracia and Sam Allardyce.
The right-back certainly hasn’t been the same since then and Daniel Farke certainly realised it with his several snubs of the senior defender and its a shame how things have ended but memories like the ones above make his time at Elland Road a memorable one.
In other Leeds United news, this exit-bound Leeds player is hurt by what fans have said about him as terms are agreed.
