Patrick Bamford may return to Leeds United action next week – Jesse Marsch
Jesse Marsch has provided the latest Leeds United team news ahead of their Premier League clash against Manchester City on Saturday [April 30].
Patrick Bamford is nearing a return to action after aggravating his plantar fascia injury picked up in the 3-2 at Molineux.
The 28-year-old wont be ready for the English champions’ visit to Elland Road and is likely to return to action next week with the Whites treating their talisman with caution.

The American told The Yorkshire Post: “Patrick will not be ready but I suspect and can probably expect he will be on the pitch next week,” he said.
“Let’s see, we have to be cautious but we’re all optimistic about Patrick at this moment.”
Crunch time.
Leeds and Marsch need to learn from their previous wrongdoings with Bamford.
The England international was rushed into action in the 3-2 win against Wolves several months ago which saw him sidelined for even longer.

He is by far one of the most important pieces to the Whites puzzle and having him fit for every game after Manchester City would be a huge boost to their Premier League survival fight.
It is vital that Leeds pick up as many points from now until the end of the season to avoid being dragged into the fight and Bamford’s return will really help in doing that.
With that being said, It does seem like a massive risk with the striker struggling for fitness this season.
Every time he has returned from injury another incident has occurred – leaving him yet again on the sidelines.
It is vital that the Whites stay up this season but risking one of their most important players’ futures is certainly not worth it.
Marsch needs to be absolutely certain that he is ready for action before bringing him back into the fold again.
