Paraag Marathe signs off on more Leeds United paperwork on Companies House

Paraag Marathe has signed off on yet more Leeds United paperwork at Companies House as resolutions have now been confirmed.

As shown by documents submitted to Companies House on Monday (23 October), the Leeds chairman signed off on paperwork to ensure the resolution of both varying share rights and name and the resolution of adoption or articles of association.

It has been a busy couple of months at Elland Road following the full takeover by 49ers Enterprises following relegation to the Championship, with a number of documents submitted to Companies House in the past few weeks to document the changes at the top.

Earlier in October terminations of the employment of Andrea Radrizzani, Sandro Mencucci and Massimo Marinelli as directors appeared, while both Marathe and John Edward York were appointed as people of significant control on 25 September.

Moving on

It may have taken a few weeks or months for the changes to officially appear on Companies House, but the Radrizzani era at Leeds United is now officially coming to an end with the 49ers assuming control officially having overseen a summer of change at Elland Road.

The Whites’ new owners have begun making moves that have ensured that they have the respect of the Leeds supporters, with an excellent summer transfer window that has seen Daniel Farke equipped with an incredibly strong Championship squad ready to compete for promotion.

With each passing week, the 49ers’ decision to appoint Farke as the Leeds manager in what was one of their first decisions following their full takeover looks like an even better call as the former Norwich boss has taken his squad from strength to strength.

Farke has ensured that his team have played an attacking and exciting brand of football, that has not only seen them win games but also entertain the supporters inside of Elland Road.

Now the 49ers can begin to make their moves off of the playing field as they look to begin their redevelopment of Elland Road which could see the new Whites owners spend up to £200 million before the end of the Championship campaign.

In other Leeds United news, Farke has heaped praise on Archie Gray for his performance against Norwich City
