Paraag Marathe reacts to Leeds United fan chants about Sky TV after win v Leicester
Paraag Marathe was spotted grinning after having a chant from Leeds United fans explained to him after the 1-0 win against Leicester on Friday 03 November.
Joe Donnohue, of the Yorkshire Evening Post, explained that the Whites’ chairman was left laughing after fans started their famous chant about Sky TV.
Marathe was present at the King Power Stadium to watch Georginio Rutter score the only goal in what could be a huge three points for the club.
Donnohue wrote on X: “Paraag Marathe has just had explained to him the chant about Sky TV, which booms around the King Power as Leeds players give their post-match interviews on the pitch.
“He grinned.”

Famous.
There is nothing like an away win under the lights with thousands of Leeds fans on cloud nine after watching one of the best team performances we have seen from the club in years.
Marathe has overseen a hectic summer, to say the least, but he will have been delighted with the togetherness on show last night, and the fans reacted to that yet again.
Everyone knows the Sky TV chant at Elland Road, but newcomers from overseas will need it explaining, and it is nice to see Marathe getting on board, with a lot still to learn.
Of course, you can no longer hear it unless you are actually at the ground with the power of mute on live television, but we can promise, it is still belted out.
Last night was about the football though, and it feels like a huge moment in the season which Daniel Farke will need to use to push on yet again towards that top two.
In other Leeds United news, Phil Hay claims that big European clubs have been keeping tabs on a Whites player for a while and are still willing to sign him.
