Paraag Marathe has ‘new information’ in his hands as Leeds make Farke sack move
Leeds United breathed a massive sigh of relief on Easter Monday after gaining promotion to the Premier League.
Daniel Farke’s men thrashed Stoke City 6-0 while Burnley beat Sheffield United to secure both sides their automatic promotion.
Although Leeds have achieved what they set out to do this term, there are already suggestions that Farke may not be safe in his job at Elland Road.

Paraag Marathe has decision to make
Celebrations in Leeds have felt like a long time coming, with the Whites having had their sights set on the Premier League since relegation.
After missing out through the play-offs last season, there were temporary worries that the same fate could be in store this term after a poor run of form saw Leeds slip down the table.
However, Farke fixed the issues, making crucial calls such as replacing Illan Meslier with Karl Darlow, and the West Yorkshire outfit returned to the top.

That being said, concerns have started to emerge over the German manager’s previous experiences in the Premier League, where he has won just nine games.
It has been reported that Paraag Marathe is now considering parting ways with the boss before the summer transfer window, handing over the reins to someone more equipped to do the job.
The 49ers chief previously stood by Farke, suggesting he hadn’t received the right backing beforehand, but Simon Jordan has defended Marathe’s potential change of heart.
Speaking live on talkSPORT (24 April, 10:39am), he said: “People have new information to base things upon. That was two years ago when Leeds first got relegated and were potentially looking at getting up the first time. Didn’t do that and got up at the second time.
“Some shortcomings and frailties might have been shown, might have built a different thought process in their mind’s eye. If you get new information, you change your perspective.”
Marathe has difficult call to make
Leeds will be under no illusions about just how tough life in the Premier League is and as all three promoted sides from last season look to come back down, this worry will have been highlighted even more.
Therefore, the Leeds chief will, of course, want to put his side in the best possible position to cope with the demands that the top flight brings, rather than having to make later changes after initial struggles.
With that in mind, Farke’s previous Premier League form has to play a part in the thinking and must raise concerns over whether he is good enough to do the job in front of him.
Although he has achieved his aims of getting Leeds up to the top flight, there have been setbacks along the way and he was unable to deliver at the first time of asking.
That being said, it does seem like a really harsh call to sack the boss before he has been given the opportunity to prove himself, too, especially when he has built a strong squad over the past two seasons.
