Pablo Hernandez makes ‘dream’ Leeds United admission
Pablo Hernandez admits it would be a “dream” to manage Leeds United in the future.
The attacking midfielder was a hugely popular figure during his five-year stint at Elland Road between 2016 and 2021 and is still revered by the Leeds fanbase.
Speaking to Flashscore (16 October), who asked whether he’d consider coaching Leeds in the future, the former Whites ace shared where he sees his coaching career heading.
“Yes, obviously the clubs that are so important to me would be a dream, but it is something that I am not considering at the moment,” he said.
“First I want to learn a lot, I have a lot to learn, see if this is what really fulfils me and what I like, and in the future we will see what it holds”.
Leeds United would welcome Pablo Hernandez with open arms
Pablo Hernandez’s time with Leeds is remembered fondly by the Whites’ fanbase.
The attacking midfielder was their Spanish playmaker and developed a cult-hero status at the club after being there for five years.
Hernandez experienced plenty of highs and lows at Elland Road with the best undoubtedly being promotion to the Premier League.
The club are now making their way back up to the top of the Championship table after narrowly missing out on promotion last season.
Daniel Farke welcomed many new faces to Leeds’ ranks in the summer with players such as Joe Rodon and Largie Ramazani arriving to help boost their promotion chances.

Indeed, players such as Crysencio Summerville and Georginio Rutter headed towards the Elland Road exit door but Leeds find themselves in a pretty strong position ahead of the resumption of domestic duties following the international break.
If Hernandez managed to get to a point in his coaching career where he’s in line for the Leeds job, there’s no doubt that the Spaniard would be welcomed with open arms by the entire fanbase.
