Leeds United have certainly caught the eye since they returned to the Premier League this season.

The Whites are currently sitting in the European places after picking up 10 points from a tricky opening six fixtures.

Wins over Fulham, Sheffield United and more recently Aston Villa on Friday has sent a massive wave of confidence through Elland Road.

Maybe too much. One Leeds fan claimed on Sunday morning on talkSPORT that the Whites could even go on to win the Premier League this season.

When asked for his reasoning, he believed that having Marcelo Bielsa at the helm could be enough to seal the title for the Whites this season.

Obviously, that is very optimistic, and former Leeds player Micky Gray appeared to agree with that claim after laughing off the caller.

"Oh my goodness," he said on talkSPORT.

"Bielsa, I'm with you all day, I think he's outstanding, but I've just seen under your name in front of us - 'Leeds can win the Premier League.'

"They've had a brilliant start, and it's one of my old clubs and I loved it there, but that's just one step too far."

Yes, we are delighted with the start we have made in the Premier League.

But, this is simply ludicrous to claim we could win the title in our first season back, even with Bielsa at the helm at Elland Road.

Before the season started, we would all have been delighted with just keeping our Premier League status, and that must still be the goal, regardless of how we have started.

Leeds and Bielsa will just keep their heads down and keep picking up points, staying in the league remains our goal, let's not get carried away.
