Oli McBurnie sends two-word message as ex-Leeds star Patrick Bamford signs for Sheffield United
Oli McBurnie has spoken out after former Leeds United man Patrick Bamford confirmed his move to Sheffield United.
Bamford left Leeds at the end of last season as the Whites confirmed promotion to the Premier League by winning the Championship.
An emotional Bamford waved goodbye to Leeds after seven years, as Daniel Farke opted to bring in new forward options ready for this campaign.
It had looked as if Bamford would join Frank Lampard and Coventry City after remaining a free agent for many months away from Elland Road.
Bamford has now completed a switch to Sheffield United and has received the backing of former Leeds academy ace McBurnie on social media.

Oli McBurnie happy with Patrick Bamford to Sheffield United
Bamford was recently spotted in Coventry training and felt as if a contract would eventually be agreed with the Sky Blues.
That never materialised, and the Englishman has now confirmed a controversial move to link up with Chris Wilder at Bramall Lane.
The Blades announced the deal on 13 November, within the same month as Wilder’s complaints about strikers in his squad.
A mixed reception has met Bamford’s signing, but former Sheffield United man and Leeds-born McBurnie appears happy with the deal.
Taking to Instagram, the Hull City star said, “Good signing!!” accompanied by a clapping emoji.
Rob Holding also reacts to Bamford move after Leeds United exit
There were eyebrows raised when the ex-Leeds man was left without a club moving into the campaign as an experienced option for many Championship clubs.
His lack of goals last season at Elland Road probably played a key role in the decision-making with a host of interested parties.
Sheffield United have taken the punt, and it looks to have gone down well with former Blades, including McBurnie and Rob Holding.
The ex-Arsenal man, now at Colorado Rapids, has also reacted to Bamford’s announcement post via Instagram.
He said: “We love to see it!! Up the blades!“
Leeds fans will have an interest in how their former striker gets on, especially after his swipe at Wilder last campaign.
