Super signing

Amid all the exits at Elland Road in the current summer transfer window, Leeds have finally made their first signing, with young star Ampadu joining the club for an undisclosed fee.

He has committed his future to the Whites until the summer of 2027, and is undoubtedly set to be a crucial player under Daniel Farke next season.

The upcoming Championship campaign won’t be easy as the Elland Road club look to get out of the division at the first time of asking, but the task has been made easier thanks to the signing of Ampadu.

The Wales international boasts plenty of experience, having played in the Premier League, Bundesliga and Serie A.

Moreover, he is a versatile player, capable of operating in central defence or in midfield, which is a huge bonus for the Whites.

He won’t be the last arrival at the West Yorkshire club this summer, but he will certainly be one of the most important ones.
