Norwich City ‘to appoint Daniel Farke’ after Leeds United sack news
Leeds United could potentially replace Daniel Farke after winning Premier League promotion, which may come as good news for Norwich City.
The German manager secured the Whites’ place in the English top flight after a two-year exile as Elland Road witnessed Stoke City’s demolition in their previous fixture.
Farke’s future under the 49ers Enterprises’ ownership has come under the scope, but some have dismissed those suggestions.
While it remains to be seen what the future holds for the former Norwich boss, the Canaries could potentially be keeping an eye on things in West Yorkshire.

Farke sack at Leeds United extremely harsh
It’d be extremely harsh if the Whites sacked Farke right after winning Premier League promotion, Chris Sutton says.
The ex-Norwich forward believes his former club’s supporters would surely take the German boss back if the 49ers decided to make a change in the Elland Road dugout.

Sutton feels that if the West Yorkshire outfit back the 48-year-old manager next summer, they may have a chance of surviving an immediate drop to the Championship.
Speaking on It’s All Kicking Off (24 April), the Englishman said: “Do I have a problem with Leeds changing managers after Farke gets them promoted? I think it’s extremely harsh if it were to happen. If they can get someone with a far greater skill set, that’s very subjective.
“What I would say to you, if you ask any Norwich City fan if they’d take Farke back, they’d in an absolute heartbeat. If Leeds spend wisely, which Norwich didn’t do when Farke was at the helm, then they may give themselves an opportunity. But we know how difficult it is for promoted teams to stay in the Premier League.”
49ers should spend diligently at Elland Road next summer
Bringing players like Abdoulaye Doucoure to Elland Road could potentially be something the 49ers should look at next summer.
Farke needs more Premier League experience in his squad, and someone like Tomas Soucek from West Ham United may be an option as well.
The German manager’s record in the English top flight with Norwich wasn’t pretty, but it’s been very hard for promoted teams to survive the drop.
Leeds must learn lessons from Southampton and Leicester City after their abysmal seasons.
Ipswich Town are the other promoted side from the previous campaign, and they also look set to be relegated.
The Americans must focus on building a squad in the upcoming transfer window capable of handling the rigours of the Premier League instead of looking for a new manager.
Farke has done enough over the last few months to deserve another shot at managing in the English top flight.
While Elland Road will rejoice for some time, the German head coach’s situation is one to keep an eye on.
