Noah Okafor snubbed as sources share questionable developments over Leeds United star

Noah Okafor has been a shining light at Leeds United this season.

Okafor signed for Leeds from AC Milan in the summer and has already scored two goals in the Premier League against Wolves and Tottenham.

Despite this, the Leeds winger has been snubbed from the Switzerland international squad for the October break by Murat Yakin.

It has now been revealed why, and Daniel Farke may not enjoy reading that.

Noah Okafor reason for Switzerland snub

Sources have revealed via Blick that Okafor’s attitude has been called into question previously when training with his international squad.

It is said that he drew attention for his poor performance and bad mood when among his teammates, something that hasn’t been noted at Leeds so far.

Despite not being called upon, Okafor is the only Swiss attacker to score more than one goal this season in the top five European leagues.

Willy Gnonto, Dan James, Jack Harrison and Brenden Aaronson have all failed to find the back of the net so far this season in the Premier League.

That shows just how important Okafor could be, with his big-game experience clear.

Switzerland door remains open for Noah Okafor

Leeds won’t exactly mind that one of their best players has been given a rest over the international break, and it is very much needed.

The 25-year-old has struggled to complete 90 minutes so far, pulling up with cramp against both Bournemouth and Tottenham in recent games.

Dr Rajpal Brar exclusively told MOT Leeds News that caution will need to be taken with the winger, with game demands said to be a little much at this stage.

With Gnonto coming back into fitness ahead of games against Burnley and West Ham, Farke will have the options to rotate if needed at Elland Road.

It won’t be because of his attitude, though, with Okafor starting on fire in West Yorkshire.
