He’s quick, good at holding up play and most importantly knows where the back of the net is.
He has proven himself to be extremely consistent at Ewood Park and the Whites must not waste time in letting other teams bid for him.
There’s a good chance that he might fancy staying in England – having spent most of his formative years on the island.
A move to Elland Road will see him being a regular starter for a Premier League side – something that would be very hard to turn down.
With Everton being the only other English top flight club realistically vying for his services, Leeds can fancy their chances to secure his signature.
However, they need to submit a bid within the next few days as Nice will surely be returning with an improved offer and they could look to lure him to France.
In other Leeds United news, the Whites now have a clear run to sign a £20m-rated left-back as their Premier League rivals have now bowed out of the race.
