Newcastle United players determined to get first win of the season against Leeds
All is not well in the Newcastle United camp ahead of their Premier League clash with Leeds United on Friday evening, according to Sportsmail.
Magpies manager Steve Bruce angered some of his players after a team meeting, and his assistant Graeme Jones and striker Dwight Gayle were involved in a training ground row that had to be broken up by captain Jamaal Lascelles.
Nevertheless, Newcastle players are said to remain united as a team and are determined to get their first win of the season when Leeds come visiting.

Boost?
Both teams are in search of their first Premier League victory of the new campaign after poor starts to the season, and there is a feeling that one team will be picking up all three points later today.
Leeds are looking to bounce back from Sunday’s disappointing defeat to Liverpool, and while they have a selection crisis at the back, they will fancy their chances against Newcastle.
While the Toons stars will be keen to prove themselves in front of their fans, the ongoing issues behind the scenes are not likely to help.
Some of the players clearly are not happy with Bruce and his assistant, and the fans will most likely be calling for his head again when Marcelo Bielsa’s side comes visiting.

The conditions are not perfect for a team looking for victory, and that could play right into Leeds’s hands.
The visitors are fully focused and united ahead of the game, and it would not be surprising if they return to Yorkshire with all three points.
