Newcastle may enter serious talks with Leeds United for Jack Harrison within days
Newcastle could firm up their interest in Leeds United star Jack Harrison in the coming days, according to Craig Hope.
The Daily Mail journalist shared that he has heard noises in recent weeks and even days that Eddie Howe is a big fan and that the Magpies have watched the winger numerous times now.
The mega-rich club are currently looking at Bayer Leverkusen’s Moussa Diaby, although there valuations are apart, similar to what is happening with Harrison at this moment in time.

Speaking on his personal Instagram account while waiting at the airport, Hope shared the latest noises he has heard coming from St James’ Park.
“The one I think they are looking at as a viable alternative is Jack Harrison of Leeds,” he said. “They’ve watched Jack Harrison many times, including on the final day of the season down at Brentford.
“They like Harrison, I don’t think it is unanimous amongst all of the transfer committee that Harrison is the best way to go, but from what I understand, I certainly think the manager, Eddie Howe, likes him.
“At the moment, Newcastle’s valuation and Leeds’ valuation is some way apart, so that’s why we haven’t seen movement already, but it is one, little things I’ve heard in the past week, the past few days, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Newcastle firmed up ther interest and started having more serious conversations with Leeds regards Harrison.”

No chance.
Leeds need to shut up shop now.
Raphinha and Kalvin Phillips were always expected to move on this summer, no one can dispute that, but we have to draw a line under that with £100million in the bank.
Luis Sinisterra has been brought in as a new winger, and Andrea Radrizzani must close up now with no other players available for sale, especially Harrison, who has become so critical.
Jesse Marsch will surely be already warning the club off selling any more players, with the transition already set to be big given the six new arrivals so far.
The only thing Leeds need to be concentrating on now is bringing in that new striker, and potentially a new left-back to solve that particular crisis that is forming.
Harrison has been excellent since arriving from Manchester City all those years ago on loan, getting better with each passing year, with more responsibility on his shoulders now.
Selling him to Newcastle would make those years pointless, with all that work being cancelled out.
Time to slam the door shut on that one.
