Newcastle enquire about Kamaldeen Sulemana as they turn back on Leeds United attacker Jack Harrison

Newcastle have reportedly given up efforts to sign Leeds United attacker as they’re now eyeing alternatives to the Englishman.

According to the Daily Mail, the Magpies have asked Ligue 1 Rennes about Ghana winger Kamaldeen Sulemana who is valued at £17million.

This has seen them “turn back on” attempts to sign Harrison as his valuation has put them off and they’re now looking for alternatives.

Great news

If this summer has taught us one thing it’s that Leeds are great at selling their players for high transfer fees.

They did not lower their valuations for Manchester City and Barcelona as they pursued the services of Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha respectively.

It’s good to see that they’re doing the same thing with Newcastle and Harrison and that’s led to the Premier League side looking elsewhere for a winger.

Despite all their riches, they do have a certain budget on every position and are not prepared to overpay for the 25-year-old.

This will certainly be viewed as great news from a Leeds perspective as there do not appear to be any other real suitors in the market for him.

Hopefully, this puts an end to all the transfer talk and Harrison can only focus on winning games for his side.

Leeds cannot afford to lose three of their best outfielders in the same window and it seems like the Englishman will be staying at Elland Road.

In other Leeds United news, Jesse Marsch is extremely keen on bringing an ‘Exceptional’ striker to Elland Road this summer and has learnt his transfer valuation.
