Newcastle and Tottenham Hotspur keen on Leeds United attacker Jack Harrison

Newcastle and Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly entered the race to sign Leeds United attacker Jack Harrison this summer.

According to the Daily Mail, the two super-rich clubs are keen on luring the 25-year-old away from Elland Road as they look to bolster their attacking ranks.

Leeds signed him for a fee in the region of £10million last summer from Manchester City after he spent a few seasons on loan with them in the Championship [The Sun].

Must stay

Clubs have now lost a big chance to lure Leeds players after they secured Premier League safety after beating Brentford.

Players who would have been available for a discount will now fetch top dollar – benefiting Leeds in the bargain.

The Whites are unlikely to sell Harrison unless they get thrice of what they paid for him last summer.

Given his age and recent form, that seems a fair price to pay and something that may not deter Spurs or Newcastle.

However, whether or not Harrison would want to leave Leeds, remains to be seen.

If he’s satisfied by what goes on behind the scenes and believes that Jesse Marsch is the right man to take the club forward then.

Nothing from Leeds indicates that they want the Englishman to leave and given Raphinha’s imminent exit, they wouldn’t want two wingers to leave in the same summer, especially when both are first choice options for them.

In Leeds United news, an under-the-radar court case involving the transfer of a Leeds player has reached its conclusion with the final payout revealed.
