Neil Warnock shares ‘horrible’ Leeds verdict as Farke doubters emerge already
Daniel Farke will lead Leeds back into the Premier League next season.
The German secured Championship promotion with his Whites side topping the table after a remarkable campaign at Elland Road.
However, that is only half of the challenge; the real task is keeping them in the division and avoiding relegation.
There were doubts about Farke’s ability to do so, and there were questions about whether he would be the man leading them into the new campaign.
Neil Warnock is not having that, though.

Warnock thinks Farke can keep Leeds in the Premier League
The 49ers Enterprises group ultimately decided to keep Farke in charge, despite his poor record in the top-flight with Norwich.
The German won just six of his 49 matches in the division in his time with the Carrow Road outfit, but former Peacocks manager Warnock believes it is not fair to judge him on that.
The legendary manager thinks that Farke has a chance to keep the LS11 outfit at the elite level.
Speaking on talkSPORT (29 July, 7:14 am), he said: “I think Daniel Farke has always had a rough deal you know, when he came up with Norwich, they gave him nothing, hardly anything, like £3-4 million, he never complained, he just got on with it and he got relegated.
“Now they are supporting him, I think he has got half a chance, you know, Leeds, especially with the backing, the fans, it is a horrible place to go when they are in full flow.
“I think he is a good manager and he has got half a chance.”
Farke is the man to keep Leeds in the top-flight
There is no doubt about it, if Paraag Marathe had decided to sack Farke, it would have been an outrageous decision after what he achieved last season.
Warnock is spot on about his time with Norwich; he was not backed anywhere near the level that he needed to be, and ultimately, that showed on the pitch.
That is not the case this time around; the 49ers have spent £74million already, and there is more business expected to be done before the deadline.
The likes of Anton Stach, Jaka Bijol and Sean Longstaff have been brought in to provide the Yorkshire outfit with top-level experience, and they have every chance of staying in the division.
The gap between promoted sides and the established top-flight teams is at an all-time high, but the Whites have done an excellent job of trying to catch up so far.
Whether it is enough remains to be seen, but they have given themselves a fighting chance, and that is all that can be asked of the club.
