Nation’s media savages Leeds United defender Rasmus Kristensen at Roma
Leeds United defender Rasmus Kristensen has not done a good job since leaving in the summer on loan to join Roma.
The Denmark international had a topsy-turvy first season at Elland Road which culminated in Leeds getting relegated from the Premier League.
He did not want to stay in the Championship and had a clause in his contract that allowed the exit.

Italian media outlet Corriere Dello Sport shared an article on 4 November, labelling him a “flop”.
Good riddance
Daniel Farke made it clear when he got to the club that he does not want players who aren’t committed to the project.
It’s true that some who wanted to leave and couldn’t leave are still at the club and are doing well, but that applies to most of the squad.
The moment there was interest from Roma, Kristensen did not appear to think twice and was on the plane just a few days later.

It seems unlikely that he ever plays for Leeds again if they get promoted to the Premier League come the end of the season.
The chances of signing Djed Spence will increase and Farke may ask the board for another right-back too, depending on the finances.
If he guides the Whites back to the top flight, the chances of the board shelling out extra funds will certainly increase.
In other Leeds United news, Phil Hay claims that big European clubs have been keeping tabs on a Whites player for a while and are still willing to sign him.
