MOT View: Fantasy Football could have leaked first Premier League clash for Leeds
With less than one month to go until Leeds United start their Premier League journey once again, excitement levels are starting to grow.
Not much has been confirmed, no kits have been unveiled and the Whites will find out their fixture list no later than this Friday (21st).
No fans will be present for the first month of the season at least, so some may be hoping that the games against the so-called top-six aren’t until October at the earliest.
Fantasy Football could have leaked the first round of fixtures in the Premier League on their website after their official launch.
Chelsea fan, @allyson_ismail, has shared a picture on their personal Twitter account showing the possible mistake made by the website.
In this selected team, the user has picked Stuart Dallas in their back three. Looking closer, you can see that the Whites are down to face Newcastle at Elland Road on the opening weekend.
That would be a fixture we would all take, and one that would give Marcelo Bielsa a real chance of picking up three points in his first Premier League game (if he stays as we expect).
We have to say, this is a picture that has been circulated by fans online, and it is unclear whether or not there is any truth behind the leaked image.
Newcastle are going through one of their most turbulent summers yet, with the collapsed takeover taking centre-stage at St James’ Park.
If that affects their transfer business, Leeds would be going into that clash as strong favourites and hopefully get our Premier League return off to a cracking start.
