‘Straight back in’, ‘Fresh impetus’ – MOT Super Fans predict Leeds starting XI v Fulham
Leeds United welcome Fulham to Elland Road on Saturday knowing that a win will put them well on their way towards the Premier League.
The Whites will be wanting to bounce back from that disappointing 2-0 defeat against Cardiff City on Sunday after making numerous mistakes.
Fulham also lost on their return against Brentford, a result which saw the Bees close in on making it a four-horse race for automatic promotion.
Pablo Hernandez was missing from the defeat in the Welsh capital, with Marcelo Bielsa confirming that the Spaniard has now returned to training.
Bielsa will continue to monitor Hernandez in the build-up to the game, with his replacement Tyler Roberts also fully fit for the crunch clash [Adam Pope].
There were worries over the fitness of the Welshman after he was spotted holding his groin after the latest round of Championship fixtures.
Pressure has continued to mount on the shoulders of Patrick Bamford after his performance in the defeat at Cardiff, but with Jean-Kevin Augustin struggling for fitness, he is expected to start once again.
We asked our esteemed panel of Super Fans to predict their starting XI for the game against Fulham.
Here’s what they said…

James (@JamesTilford1)

Barry (@jbarrymon)
There seems to be a real split between fans over what would be the best team to put out against Fulham.
Many expect Hernandez to come straight back into the side to replace Roberts, but some would want to give the youngster a shot leading the line in place of Bamford.
The most common answer would be a straight swap, as Roberts would have a much-bigger impact off the bench compared to someone such as Bamford, who will need to hold the ball up consistently against Scott Parker’s men.
Either way, it’s a great dilemma to have, with our options much shorter against Cardiff as the Whites welcome back both Hernandez and Barry Douglas.
