Michael Owen predicts result of Leeds United v Norwich City

Leeds United will go in search of their second Premier League win of the campaign when they travel to Carrow Road to face rock-bottom Norwich City on Sunday.

The Whites are currently 17th in the table, and they are badly in need of some victories as they look to avoid a potential relegation battle.

Michael Owen is tipping Leeds to pick up all three points when they come up against winless Norwich, predicting a 3-1 win in their favour.

He told BetVictor: “It’s been a dreadful start to the season for Norwich and the morale of the squad must be at an all-time low after last week’s hammering to Chelsea.

“I just don’t see where a positive result will come from. They have the league’s worst attack and worst defence, that’s not going to work.

“That was a massive last-minute penalty for Leeds, by Rodrigo to salvage a point against Wolves last week. They haven’t quite got going yet this season, but this should be an ideal game for them.

“Norwich will play right into Leeds’ hands here. I think they’ll be too open, and I’d expect Leeds to score a few goals.”

Finally?

Leeds have struggled to live up to the standards of last term, with frequent injuries to key players being one of the reasons.

Marcelo Bielsa still does not have a fully-fit squad to pick from, but the current crop of available players should be able to get the job done comfortably when they visit Daniel Farke’s men.

Norwich have lost seven and drawn the other two, and they have struggled to prove that they belong to the top-flight since securing an immediate return.

The Whites have not been particularly convincing too, but they have a chance to finally get their campaign back on track with a victory against the Canaries.

Anything less than that would be a huge disappointment, and it is safe to say that they will be relishing the opportunity to pick up crucial three points at the expense of a very poor side.

In other Leeds United news, Whites staff have been left thrilled as Bielsa funds behind-the-scenes development at Elland Road.
