Michael Dawson shocked on Sky Sports at Farke sack news at Leeds United – ‘Wow’
Michael Dawson has shared his response to the idea of Daniel Farke possibly being fired by Leeds United at the end of the season.
Farke has guided Leeds back to the Premier League this season, with the Yorkshire giants having secured automatic promotion to the English top flight.
Leeds have been dominant at Elland Road and beyond, showcasing their qualities to ensure that they are back in the division where their fan base believes they belong next season.
However, despite all of his hard work, there is a possibility that Farke will not be following the rest of his squad on that journey.

Michael Dawson floored by Leeds’ potential decision
It has been reported that the Yorkshire giants could end up parting ways with Fare at the end of the season in a bid to hire a brand new manager before their Premier League campaign begins.
This is due to Farke not having a strong record in the English top flight, with Leeds looking to do whatever it takes to stay afloat next season.
That isn’t an easy thing to achieve considering the last two seasons has seen all three of the newly promoted teams go straight back down.
Matches | Wins | Draws | Losses | Goals | Points | Points Per Match |

However, the idea of firing Farke is one that has surprised a lot of supporters, considering the brilliant work he’s put together this season, coupled with the fact that he knows the squad inside and out.
Dawson was shocked when he learned that Leeds might be firing Farke, and he made his thoughts clear on Sky Sports News (26 April, 12:40pm).
He said: “I was at Wembley 12 months ago and the question then was whether he’d get them up to the Premier League. He’s done that and now deserves a shot. I know the 49ers have money and may look to go another way.
“They’ll want to put fortunes and fortunes in, but I think ‘wow’. He was at Norwich, and Leeds will also be one of the favourites to go down, so they’ll need to spend big.
“But it’d be very harsh given what he’s delivered under the expectations. Then you hear all these things coming out, and it’s been a surprise for me.”

Daniel Farke doesn’t have ambition for the final two games
Leeds might have gained promotion, but they do have plenty to play for in the remaining two games as there is still the opportunity for them to win the Championship.
It’s something that will go down to the wire, with Burnley currently three points ahead of the Whites, who are yet to play this weekend.
However, it is all in Leeds’ hands as two wins are likely going to be enough to secure promotion as they boast far superior goal difference.
Farke isn’t overly concerned about that, though, as he admitted during his latest press conference that he’s not bothered if they win the title or not, as they have gained promotion.
