Micah Richards drools over Leeds United summer signing Brendan Aaronson

Michah Richards suggests that Leeds United have signed a “class” player in Brendan Aaronson ahead of the 2022-23 Premier League campaign.

The popular Sky Sports pundit wrote for The Daily Mail on 4 August that he is “exciting” to watch, and the young talent can make a big difference to Jesse Marsch’s side.

The Whites will open their Premier League campaign against Wolves on Saturday (6 August) at Elland Road.

“Another signing I have to mention is Brenden Aaronson for Leeds. I saw him plenty of times in the Champions League for Red Bull Salzburg and he’s class,” wrote Richards for The Daily Mail.

“He’s played for Jesse Marsch before, he knows what his manager wants and he looks exciting. Keep an eye on him.”

High hopes

This has been a massive transfer window for Leeds, with Jesse Marsch bringing in as many as seven new players.

The Whites have bolstered their attacking department, and Aaronson could be the one who can make a big impact for the club this season.

The 21-year-old already proved his quality in the Champions League for Red Bull Salzburg, and everyone at Leeds will be hoping that he reaches a new height under Jesse Marsch.

The Whites have shown immense faith in his qualities, having signed him on a big-money transfer this summer. He is very young, and his best years are ahead of him. That’s why there is an element of excitement attached to his signing.

He is skilful, intelligent and has the capability to conjure up moments of sublime quality. In the pre-season, he produced a magnificent defence-splitting pass to Patrick Bamford, and Leeds fans will be hoping that he will show his quality throughout the season.

Leeds have lost two key players in Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha but the additions made by the club give more balance and depth to the side.

In other Leeds United news, the Whites now want to sign this striker with a rival set to kickstart a major £30million+ transfer battle
