Mesut Ozil sends message to Leeds United teenager Ben Andreucci

Mesut Ozil has sent a message to Leeds United teen Ben Andreucci after he signed up to a new agency.

Andreucci, 16, played four times for Leeds in the Under-18s Premier League last season and is currently a Scotland youth internationals who’s also been involved with Ireland and England.

On Thursday, it was confirmed that he’s joined up with the Family and Football agency, who also have Fenerbahce star Ozil on their books.

After the news about Andreucci was announced on Instagram, ex-Arsenal and Real Madrid star Ozil responded.

He said: “Welcome to Family and Football, Ben.”

Huge motivation

There’s no doubt that Andreucci will be showing his friends and family that comment by Ozil, who will have definitely made the young forward’s day.

Family and Football has a few recognisable names on their books.

As well as Ozil, they also have Kieran Gibbs and Lucas Perez – who also previously at Arsenal – among their list of clients.

Andreucci is the latest to join with the Scotland youth international clearly starting to cause a stir on the youth scene.

While he started just one match in the Under-18s Premier League last season and failed to score, he was trusted to play all 90 minutes of a 4-3 win over Stoke City.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for the teenage attacker but clearly, big things must be expected of him if a firm like Family and Football is willing to take him on.

In other Leeds United news, this “unbelievable” forward has confirmed he wants to join the Yorkshire club.
