Medical scheduled: Leeds United agree contract to finalise Lewis Pirie signing – Sky Sports
Leeds United have agreed a contract to finalise the signing of Lewis Pirie from Aberdeen, according to Sky Sports.
The publication noted that the 16-year-old will undergo a medical with the Whites next week following his £200,000 move.
The teenager will initially join on a scholarship before signing a professional contract, with a sell-on clause included in his deal, added Sky Sports.

“Leeds United have agreed a deal worth £200,000 to sign Aberdeen youngster Lewis Pirie,” according to Sky Sports.
“It’s understood the initial fee will be £150,000, plus add-ons based on performance and promotion to the Premier League. A sell-on clause has also been included in the deal.
“Pirie, 16, is due to undergo a medical with Leeds next week and will initially join on a scholarship until January 2024, before moving onto a professional contract until the summer of 2026.”

Exciting times
Leeds supporters have been used to hearing news of the takeover and managerial links in recent weeks, but those issues have now been sorted, allowing the headlines to be dominated by transfer talk.
Even then, however, the stories have involved player exits from Elland Road, with central defender Robin Koch having already left on loan to join Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt.
The German could be followed by the likes of Wilfried Gnonto, Tyler Adams, Marc Roca and a handful of others as the Whites try and raise funds this summer.
But now there is some welcome news for fans as they hear of the signing of Aberdeen ace Pirie, who certainly looks to have a bright future ahead of him.
The £200,000 fee won’t worry Leeds too much, with the sell-on clause indicating that they expect the youngster to be sold on for a substantial figure in the future.
