Mateusz Klich spotted with Leeds United scarf after MLS game, he’s dubbed legend

Mateusz Klich was pictured with a Leeds United scarf after D.C United’s 2-2 draw with Portland Timbers in the MLS, leading a fan to dub him a “legend”.

In an image shared by one fan on X, the former Leeds man had the Leeds scarf over his shoulder and had signed a Whites shirt for the supporter.

Klich has continued to be vocal in his support for the Yorkshire club, reacting to the latest developments including transfer news and sharing footage from Elland Road.

Leeds United fans will be happy to see Mateusz Klich involved

It’s always a touching moment for fans to see former players still paying respect and getting involved with the club, and Klich’s hero status at Elland Road has only increased since his exit, with the latest tribute dubbing him a “legend”.

The love Klich has always shown to Leeds is a big part of how adored he is in Yorkshire, with those tributes continuing as he interacts with supporters whenever possible and, as mentioned, is always willing to speak about ongoing developments.

With actions like this, he will continue to be a fan favourite and will always be welcomed with open arms by the fans back at Elland Road – something every player would want to say about a former club.

Klich is not the first former Leeds man to have been pictured with memorabilia, and former boss Marcelo Bielsa was also shown signing a shirt while leading his Uruguay squad to face Argentina. Once you’ve got the Leeds bug, it’s a hard one to let go of.
