Leeds United midfielder Mateusz Klich has responded to a fan on Twitter after testing positive for COVID-19 this week.
It has been a wild couple of days for the Polish international, who left for the World Cup Qualifiers before testing positive, negative and then positive again.
Klich is known for his joking character and claimed that he has had worse hangovers in his life when describing his symptoms.
Writing on his personal Twitter account, Klich responded to the fan sharing that he will be fine once he finishes his quarantine.
“Sore throat and headache,” he wrote.
“I have had worse hangovers. I will be fine.”

Klich was at the heart of everything after the Whites secured their promotion back to the Premier League last year, and we can only imagine how he felt waking up then.
We can all remember the shock when he was left out against Derby after his incredible run of starts under Marcelo Bielsa, although the hangover probably meant he was better placed on the bench.
The midfielder has been struggling massively recently and hasn’t been able to nail down his spot in the Leeds side due to tiredness and injuries.
This will give him a guaranteed 10 days of rest in his hotel room and should see him recover some stamina given that he has few symptoms.
With strong rumours that Liam Cooper also has the virus, we are hoping that this is as far as it spreads around Thorp Arch, with the last thing we need a big outbreak.
