Mateusz Klich and Pablo Hernandez share instant reaction as Leeds United confirm Adam Forshaw exit
Former Leeds United duo Mateusz Klich and Pablo Hernandez have both reacted to the news that Adam Forshaw will be leaving the club.
As confirmed on the official Leeds Instagram page, Forshaw has left the Elland Road club upon the expiry of his contract.
The midfielder spent five years at the West Yorkshire outfit after joining from Championship rivals Middlesbrough in 2018.

“Always welcome at Elland Road, Leeds United wishes Adam Forshaw all the best for the future, after the midfielder left the club following his contract expiring,” the club posted on Instagram.
And his former Whites teammates Klich and Hernandez quickly reacted to the news of his departure.

Emotional farewell
Forshaw was clearly well-liked at Elland Road, with many Whites supporters perhaps very disappointed to see the midfielder leave this summer.
At 31, his experience could have been key to the club getting to grips with the Championship once again in their pursuit of an immediate promotion back to the Premier League.
But the player himself may just be wanting a new challenge at this stage of his career, having served the Whites well in both the Championship and the Premier League across his five-year stay at the club.
The Elland Road departures are showing no signs of slowing down, with Forshaw following the likes of Robin Koch, Brenden Aaronson, Marc Roca, Rasmus Kristensen and Rodrigo among others out of the exit door.
Farke clearly has a plan in mind, but the German manager must be careful not to lose too many more senior players as the new season rapidly approaches.
In other Leeds United news, one Whites attacker is “in the sights” of a Serie A club in the summer transfer window.
