Marcelo Bielsa shares insight into Leeds United man Shackleton’s injury
Marcelo Bielsa is still waiting to find out the extent of Leeds United man Jamie Shackleton’s injury.
Speaking in his post-match press conference, the Argentine was asked about the 22-year-old who was withdrawn on the 71st minute against Norwich City [Leeds Live].
However, it seems as if it is too early to know exactly what the problem was, and Bielsa is in the dark as the rest of us.

When asked about Shackleton and his injury, he said: “No, I haven’t received any information just yet.”
Perhaps it was too early for Bielsa to know?
Ultimately, the Argentine had to answer the question, and it would be intriguing to find out if he did know the problem and didn’t want to share it or if he really had no idea.
Now, Shackleton has filled in at right-back rather well while the Whites wait for Luke Ayling to return, and the last thing they need is another injury.
However, could this injury give Cody Drameh his chance at becoming Leeds’ first-choice right-back?

Well, he impressed in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday and was decent enough when he came on yesterday, so if Shackleton’s injury is bad, then Drameh should be able to fill in.
Hopefully, Shackleton, the Leeds academy graduate, hasn’t suffered a nasty injury because he hasn’t had a lot of luck with injuries in his career so far.
Still, if he is out for any amount of time, you would have confidence that Drameh could fill in.
In other Leeds United news, Tony Dorigo was left stunned by one moment against Norwich.
