Marcelo Bielsa reaction to Leeds title win revealed

Leeds United clinched the Championship title in dramatic fashion on the last day, and Marcelo Bielsa reacted to it.

Behind the scenes at Elland Road, work will already be underway to get Leeds prepared for life back in the Premier League, but for those away from that, celebrations will live on.

Manor Solomon‘s last-minute strike against Plymouth wrapped up the league title for the Whites in dramatic fashion, and Leeds’ celebrations have been wild ever since.

Daniel Farke was fairly quiet with his own personal celebrations, with Henry Winter revealing the feeling of Bielsa after the achievement.

Leeds achievement delights Bielsa away from Elland Road

Farke will take plenty of credit for his role in Leeds United‘s promotion back to the Premier League, and rightfully so, given some of the decisions he made throughout the campaign.

Leeds United had a remarkable campaign in the Championship under Farke.

The Whites finished with a remarkable 100 points, and according to Winter via X, Bielsa is “absolutely delighted” for Leeds and their supporters to have made a return to the top flight.

Of course, Bielsa is still a very popular figure at Leeds for what he achieved with the club during his stay with the Whites, and the relationship seems mutual after the title win.

Leeds must prepare smartly for Premier League campaign

With Leeds’ season now over, those behind the scenes at Elland Road have a huge task ahead of them to ensure that the Whites are well-equipped in their hunt for Premier League survival.

Farke is said to have a budget of £150million to sign new players, and it is imperative that recruitment is perfect, with very little, if any, margin for error.

The gulf in quality between the Premier League and Championship is huge, and without the right planning and decision making, it is a very hard gap to bridge, showcasing just how big of a task awaits Leeds United.
