Marcelo Bielsa expects no new signings for Leeds United

Marcelo Bielsa has revealed that he expects Leeds United to make no more signings before the close of the transfer window.

Speaking in his press conference after the Whites’ 1-1 draw with Burnley, the Argentine was asked if he could see Leeds signing anyone else before the transfer window closes, and he said, “We think not” [LeedsLive].

This suggests that Leeds are finished in the transfer market, which could disappoint fans.

Have Leeds done enough business?

The Whites have added Junior Firpo, permanently signed Jack Harrison, and signed Kristoffer Klaesson but apart from that, all of their other arrivals have been for the Under-23s.

You could certainly argue that Leeds need to make some more first-team signings before the window closes.

However, this seems like a pretty conclusive statement from Bielsa, and the Whites might have to make it through until January with their current squad.

They haven’t had the best start to the season, picking up just two points from their first three games, but you would expect the Whites to get better.

It is just a shame that the Whites probably won’t be signing anyone else for the first team.
