Marcelo Bielsa confirms Leeds team news for West Ham clash

Marcelo Bielsa has confirmed his Leeds United team news for the upcoming Premier League clash against West Ham on Monday evening.

The Whites have had injury worries over numerous members of their squad, with Pascal Struijk being added to that list against Aston Villa.

Bielsa confirmed that numerous names will return for the under-23s against Wolves tomorrow, but didn’t give away who they would be.

Beren Cross relayed the news on his Twitter account, with Gaetano Berardi set for another 45 minutes with the under-23s again.

Phil Hay shared a further update, claiming that Phillips and Rodrigo will need to be assessed over the weekend before making a decision.

Leeds have lost six of their previous seven games without Phillips, with the only win coming against Southampton a couple of weeks ago.

The Whites need to find a way of winning without him,

This is a massive game for the Whites.

Not only have they been given another chance to end their run of shocking defeats in London, but the Hammers are in brilliant form and pushing for Champions League football.

Bielsa will want to return to winning ways after that disappointing evening against Villa, and he won’t have a full-strength side to do that with.
