Marc Roca wants Leeds United to ‘dream big’

Marc Roca believes Leeds United must continue to “dream big” but must also keep their focus on the present.

The Whites have had a decent beginning to their campaign as they currently have eight points from the first six matches.

Talking on the Official Leeds United Podcast (13:28-14:27), Roca revealed that the players are feeling comfortable ahead of the resumption after the international break.

“I try to focus always on the present moment because I think it’s the most important,” he said. “I think we have to dream big.

“But we have to focus on the most important part, our present, because it’s the most important. We started the season very well, the fans are connected with us, we are feeling comfortable.”

Important matches ahead

Leeds’ season started in a blockbuster manner where they managed to secure seven points from the first three matches, including a big 3-0 win against Chelsea on August 22 [Premier League].

However, since then, the Whites have struggled to continue the momentum as they only managed to secure two points from the next three matches.

Those results have definitely put some pressure on Jesse Marsch and the players, so the fans will be hoping to see improved performances from the side in the upcoming fixtures.

On an individual level, one of Leeds’ most consistent players in this campaign has been Roca, who along with Tyler Adams has been a real powerhouse in the middle of the park.

In other Leeds United news, an Elland Road-linked midfielder is now certain to leave his club in the coming weeks as a host of Premier League clubs are vying for his services.
