Marc Roca shares brand new Leeds United exit update as transfer news drops
Leeds United loanee Marc Roca has issued an update on his future at Elland Road after admitting that he is “very comfortable” with Real Betis.
The 26-year-old has been in inspired form in Spain with suggestions that Manuel Pellegrini’s side would be very keen on a permanent move with a £10.4m clause in place [Mucho Deporte, 20 November].
Roca has been vocal about his happiness since joining Betis on loan and has revealed that he and his representatives remain in contact with the club, admitting he’ll have to wait and see what happens.

As quoted by Diario De Sevilla (22 November, page 50) he said: “It’s true that we are in contact with the club, Let’s see how everything evolves. It is also my representative’s job to reach an agreement.
“Then Betis have to talk to Leeds. I’m very comfortable here. I have fit very well in the team, inside the dressing room, I am very happy in my day-to-day, enjoying it on the pitch.
“We’ll see. We will see how the negotiations progress, but I am very comfortable here and very happy.”
Strike a deal
It is abundantly clear that Roca is very happy to be back in Spain and his performances in both La Liga and the Europa League have been nothing short of impressive, so it would seem best for all parties if a deal to make the deal permanent was completed.
But Betis haven’t been blessed with an abundance of funds in recent seasons so it may be hard for them to match the £10.4million fee Leeds have placed in the contract to make the deal permanent.

There is no reason for the Whites to let him depart Elland Road permanently for any smaller a fee as they paid a healthy £10million sum [Sky Sports] to bring him to England in the first place and should he continue to impress this season his value will only rise.
Should the player push for a move, Betis may be able to scrape together the funds to make his stay permanently, but as the selling and loaning club, Leeds are in an excellent position to get the best end of the deal regardless of the eventual outcome.
