Many Leeds fans react to FA decision after 3-3 v Cardiff: 'Disgusting immoral club'

Cardiff City have lost their appeal against Sean Morrison’s sending off in the 3-3 draw against Leeds United at Elland Road on Saturday.

Morrison was shown a straight red card for an ugly challenge on Eddie Nketiah in the closing stages of the match that saw Leeds let slip of a three-goal lead and drop to second in the Championship table.

Cardiff appealed against the red card after the match but, as confirmed on the FA’s official website, Morrison’s three-match ban has been upheld.

Leeds United fans on Twitter have reacted to the news once it reached BBC Sport and most of them cannot believe that the Bluebirds had the audacity to appeal the sending off.

It was clearly a dangerous challenge that could have led to Nketiah picking up an injury so referee Tony Harrington had no option but to brandish the red card to Morrison.

Other than a few Leeds fans who have taken a swipe at Morrison’s questionable facial hair, most supporters have taken to social media to hit out at the Welsh side and their captain.
