Many Leeds fans react on Twitter as West Brom drop points with 1-1 draw v Blackburn
Leeds United fans have been reacting on Twitter after West Brom dropped points in the race for automatic promotion to the Premier League.
Joe Rothwell’s second-half goal cancelled out Filip Krovinovic’s opener as Blackburn came from behind to draw 1-1 with the Baggies at Ewood Park.
Albion’s draw means they move level on points with Leeds ahead of their trip to Swansea on Sunday but the Whites remain top of the league on goal difference.
Next up for West Brom is a clash against Fulham on Tuesday night. If they lose that, Brentford can overtake them 24 hours later when they play Preston.
Albion are in trouble but, luckily, Leeds still have a game to play and can relieve a lot of pressure by beating Swansea on Sunday.
It’s all looking good going into that game, despite Brentford winning, and Leeds fans have been making that clear on Twitter.
Here is a selection of their tweets:
All Leeds need to do is just keep on winning their games and not dropping points in the same fashion West Brom have been in their games against Birmingham, Brentford and Blackburn since the restart.
Marcelo Bielsa and his players might not even be aware of the events at Pride Park and Ewood Park on Saturday. All they know is that they have to beat Swansea.
It is going to be a tough game but we predict that they will do exactly that.
In other Leeds United news, the Whites are hot on the heels of this Championship striker.
