Manor Solomon makes honest admission on Leeds United performances

Manor Solomon believes he can get even better for Leeds United after scoring the opening goal in the victory over Norwich City.

Leeds moved back to the summit of the Championship on Wednesday night (22 January), courtesy of a 2-0 win over the Canaries in which Solomon played a key role.

Having opened the scoring inside the first minute, he caused problems to the Norwich defence throughout the game, but he believes he can get even better this season.

Speaking via BBC Radio Leeds, the winger said: “I’m feeling really good, I’m feeling like I’m back to myself.

“I think I can get even better and I just want to continue like this.”

Manor Solomon has found his feet at Leeds United

With the Whites sitting pretty at the top of the Championship, it has certainly been a team effort but certain players have stood out more than others – and Solomon is one of them.

The 25-year-old registered a goal and an assist against Norwich, taking his total league contribution tally into double figures, having only started 10 of the 21 games he has featured in.

His quality is evident but the one thing that has occasionally been lacking in his performances has been consistency, although he appears to be finding that with each passing week.

If he can maintain these levels of performances, Leeds have a player on their hands capable of maintaining their position in the automatic promotion spots. With others contributing plenty, the Whites are in a great spot.

A promotion six-pointer is up next for the Whites with a clash against Burnley, which if they can come out victorious, will put them in an outstanding position to do just that.
