Manor Solomon sends new Leeds United message after draw v QPR

Leeds United fought back from two goals down to draw 2-2 with QPR at Loftus Road on Saturday afternoon.

QPR took the lead when Koki Saito capitalised on Brenden Aaronson’s error, before Steve Cook established a 2-0 lead for the hosts.

But before half-time, Leeds got themselves back into the game when Morgan Fox inadvertently diverted the ball into his own net, before Jayden Bogle equalised.

Leeds, despite being disappointed, will now remain top of the Championship going into the final international break of this wild season

Manor Solomon delivers motivational message at Leeds

Following their draw in London, the Whites sit top of the Championship table with just eight games remaining, as they near a place in the Premier League.

Solomon was left raging at Loftus Road though, as he was taken off with minutes remaining, visibly making his feelings known as he trudged off.

The Israeli international took to Instagram to encourage his teammates to keep going and wrote on his story: “Eight finals to go.”

Leeds must get back to winning ways after the international break

The Whites have enjoyed a largely successful campaign, and deservedly sit top of the Championship table having notched an incredible return of 76 goals in 38 fixtures so far.

But Leeds have hit a rough spell of form in recent weeks, and have now dropped points in three of their last four games, having drawn to West Brom on 1 March before last week’s 1-0 defeat at Portsmouth.

Farke and co seemingly got themselves back on track when they beat Millwall 2-0 last Wednesday, but their first half against QPR on Saturday left plenty to be desired.

Meanwhile, promotion rivals Sheffield United and Burnley are unlikely to fade away, so Leeds must get themselves back to winning ways when they entertain Swansea at the end of the month.

If Sheffield United emerge victorious in Sunday’s Steel City Derby with Sheffield Wednesday, they will sit level with Farke’s men going into a wild last couple of months.
